Outpatient Services

Behavioral Health Services at BRMC has developed a comprehensive Outpatient Program to meet the demands of patients seeking quality medical care. From initial evaluation through treatment completion, outpatients will find that a caring and compassionate staff works with them every step of the way towards achieving their mental health goals.

The Outpatient Clinic
The Outpatient Clinic at BRMC offers patients traditional services such as initial evaluation and treatment plans including therapy and medication management. Services are available to suit the needs of children and adolescents, adults as well as the geriatric population. Patients in this program typically seek treatment for anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, alcoholism and other more persistent mental illnesses to name a few.

Acute Partial Hospital
The Acute Partial Hospital at BRMC is designed to fully meet the needs of its patients. A staff of qualified professionals works extensively to ensure that individuals at the Acute Partial Hospital receive intensive outpatient intervention services through this full 6-day program to avoid hospitalization or extended inpatient stay. Patients admitted to this program require intensive care to remain active in their communities and do not require 24-hour supervision.

MICA Partial Hospital
The MICA Partial Hospital at BRMC serves patients dealing with co-occurring mental illness and chemical addiction. Structure treatment, offered as a half day program three to five times per week, allots patients with critical services to control symptoms, lead productive lives and prevent relapse. Patients admitted to this program require intensive care to remain active but do not require 24-hour supervision.

The primary goal of BRMC Behavioral Health Service’s Outpatient Program is to successfully treat patients in the least restrictive environment. All participants are closely monitored and receive appropriate referral services dependent on progress and reaction to treatment.

The Outpatient Program is located in Building 14, the Behavioral Health Pavilion. All services are tailored to accommodate handicapped individuals. Medicare, Medicaid and most health insurance plans are accepted. The hospital also accepts and offers charity care and sliding scale arrangements depending upon eligibility criteria.
