2.5 CEU Credits for New & Intermediate Social Workers

Monday, June 3, 2013, 5pm – 7:30pm
in the Newly Renovated BRMC Auditorium.
Presentation will start immediately and include dinner.

Speaker Phil Feldman, PhD, LCSW. Will include: theory and techniques related to effective group therapy, the therapist’s role, use of self, treatment goals, understanding the stages of group therapy, and maintaining control of the group process.

Family Therapy: Skills and Techniques

Wednesday July 17, 2013, 5pm – 7pm
in the Newly Renovated BRMC Auditorium.
Presentation will start immediately and include dinner

Speaker Phil Feldman, PhD, LCSW. Clinical Content will focus on theory and practice related to Family therapy. Other clinical topics include different types of treatment strategies and skills, therapy goals, and the role of the social worker in the family therapy process.

Teen Track

Evergreen Adolescent Outpatient Group

Tuesdays & Thursdays • 5:45pm – 7:15pm

For Teens 13–17 - a group focus on recovering from Alcohol/Drugs & Abuse/Addiction. Topics include: education, communication, recreation, peer-pressure, learning how to manage life better, combating boredom, setting limits, working on dreams, how to set and accomplish goals, self-esteem building, learning how to say “No”, and identifying natural highs. Meetings held at Bergen Regional Medical Center
